              Bargaining - Anaglyph Art
Bargaining (Anaglyph Art ) is an original mixed media artwork from the ongoing “Lymed Up” series — a visual exploration of the unseen struggles and emotional evolution experienced by those living with chronic Lyme disease.
This piece embodies the stage of Bargaining, a complex negotiation between hope and despair, resistance and surrender. It captures the fragile human impulse to reason with the unchangeable — to make deals with pain, with time, with the body itself — in the desperate search for relief and meaning.
Visually, Bargaining pulses with layered tension. Drawing inspiration from cellular structures and neural pathways, the composition mirrors the body’s invisible battles while echoing the mind’s intricate dialogues of pleading and persistence. The interplay of form and color evokes both motion and stasis — a cycle of asking, waiting, and recalibrating.
Executed using a specialized anaglyph technique, the painting expands beyond the flat plane, coming alive in 3D when viewed with glasses. Under UV light, fluorescent and color-shifting pigments reveal hidden dimensions — symbolic of the unseen aspects of chronic illness and the private emotional landscapes it creates.
Bargaining challenges the viewer to witness the moment between resistance and acceptance — a suspended space where the struggle for control gives way to understanding.
Medium: Mixed media on canvas
Size: 48 × 24 inches
Series: Lymed Up
Features: UV-reactive, color-shifting pigments anaglyph 3D effect (viewable with glasses)
